Position Summary: Bishop Guilfoyle Academy is seeking a knowledgeable, energetic, and value-driven Head Varsity Baseball Coach to lead our high school baseball program. The successful candidate will foster a competitive athletic culture rooted in the Academy’s values of goodness, discipline, and knowledge. This individual should emphasize academic success, athletic growth, and good sportsmanship. The Head Coach oversees all aspects of the varsity & junior High baseball program, including player development, game strategy, team administration, and alignment with PIAA guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Program Leadership & Operations: Plan, organize, and execute all Varsity practices, player evaluations, and game strategies. Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility preparations.

· Faith & Character Integration: Model sportsmanship, service, and integrity, promoting an environment that supports the mission and Catholic values of Bishop Guilfoyle Academy.

· Staff Supervision: Recruit, direct, and evaluate sub-varsity and assistant coaching staff to ensure consistent player development across all levels.

· Student Development & Academics: Monitor student-athlete academic standing, behavior, and physical conditioning, emphasizing the balance between academic responsibilities and athletics.

· Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to all PIAA, NFHS, and Bishop Guilfoyle Academy policies, safety protocols, and regulations.

· Community Relations: Coordinate culture-building events, clinics, and fundraisers that will excite the current and upcoming generation of Marauder baseball players. Maintain professional communication with parents, administration, and media.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Experience: High school or collegiate coaching/playing experience preferred. Demonstrated track record of effective program leadership and skill development.

· Rules & Knowledge: Deep understanding of baseball strategy and fundamentals, along with working knowledge of PIAA and NFHS rules.

· Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (or ability to obtain before season start). Completion of mandatory PIAA coaching education courses.

· Clearances: Must pass required background checks and clearances (PA Child Abuse, PA State Police Criminal Record, and FBI Fingerprinting, Protecting God’s Children, etc.).

Bishop Guilfoyle Academy is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Evening Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our Eldorado and Fairview campuses.

Responsibilities include general cleaning and custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and assisting with the overall upkeep of school facilities.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently.

Qualifications:
Previous custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be reliable, able to perform physical tasks, and committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
